The Pneu-Back Chair Patented
Stabilize the pelvis
liminate recruitment of the gluteal and hamstring muscles
ecruit the erector spinae for strengthening
Increases range of motion
Provide specific vertebral stabilization for postural adjustment
Use with distraction for treating Scoliosis and other spinal conditions
The Chair will stabilize the pelvis to help eliminate the use of stomach and leg muscles to hold up the back and encourage the use of the smaller spinal muscles to support, and strengthen the back.
Designed to stabilize and isolate movement to a specific segment or segments along the vertebral column. Once set up in the chair with pelvic and spinal stabilization provided, the patient is asked to perform specific movements (not using glutes, quads, hams or other areas of the back), and along with your chosen techniques (mobes, muscles energy, adjustments, etc.) the re-education of the inactive or under active muscle fibres occurs. This muscle recruitment is specific and is very effective at creating positive postural changes.
