The Pneu-Weight Unweighting system uses pneumatic power provided by a small compressor and the Pneu-Vest to support the patient.
Pneu-Weights Unweighting range allows the patient to perform low-impact kinetic exercises in an upright functional position. Activities such as walking, running, stair climbing, jumping and balance may all be performed safely in an unweighted condition.
Unweighting allows rehabilitation to begin sooner, utilizing task specific functional exercise without the pain.
The amount of weight taken off is precisely controlled by the clinician 10-300 lbs, and the unweighted body weight is supported through a 30 oscillation range allowing your client the ability to walk, run, perform step-ups and step-downs, re-train from sit to stand and do full or partial squats in the Exercise Mode.
The Pneu-Weight also gives you the ability to do unweighted lateral and retro exercise.
The Balance Mode is a feature only the Pneu-Weight Unweighting system possesses.
When the Balance Mode is activated, if a patient were to lose their balance, their body would be supported and will only be let down about six inches, thus avoiding re-injury resulting from a fall.
The Pneu-Weight is available in Single station, Double station, Triple stations (Triple Shown)
The Double, Triple give you the option to incorporate different pieces of equipment such as the Pneu-Back Chair, treadmill, stationary bike, stair-stepper, etc into your Unweighting treatment sessions.
Each station is self-sufficient and has its own set of controls, so multiple treatments can be run simultaneously.
Requires GAST Compressor
Cable Assemblies are to be replaced at least every six months!
