The Saunders Clinical Traction Device is a patented device that eliminates the problems patients have had with traditional cervical traction devices and saves hours of set-up time. Studies have shown that cervical traction is more effective in the supine position and that traditional head halters can aggravate TMJ dysfunction. The Saunders Clinical Traction Device is used in the supine position and pulls from the occiput, not the chin, resulting in safer, more effective traction.
